Pomocou digitálnej makety sedadiel a cestujúcich je možné pomocou aplikácie v rámci Virtual Performance Solution predikovať niektoré podrobnejšie informácie týkajúce sa výroby sedadiel a výkonov s ohľadom na komplexnú fyziku materiálov (peny, textílie a plasty), viacnásobné kontakty (medzi bedrovou opierkou a penou, medzi penou a krytom, medzi krytom a cestujúceho) a časovo závislých procesov (štandardizované procesy sediacej figuríny). Fyzikálne parametre vyplývajúce z každej fáze reťazca (pozície, priehyb a deformácie a napätia) sa používajú ako podklad k nasledujúcej fáze s cieľom zabezpečiť vysokú úroveň presnosti bez ohľadu na sedadlo a antropometriu cestujúceho.

Proces napenenia umožňuje zistiť v procese návrhu umiestnenia zvarových liniek a potenciálnych problémov, ako sú lapače vzduchu. Rozdelenie hustoty peny možno použiť ako vstup pre ďalšiu fázu, aby sa zlepšila presnosť.

Proces šitia umožňuje zistiť už v procese návrhu možné remeselné problémy, ako sú záhyby poťahu a preklenovacie medzery. Napnutie poťahu a peny vyplývajúce z tejto fáze je možné použiť ako vstup pre ďalšiu fázu.

As we enter the Fall season, we at ESI are eager to share with you recent news from the past weeks! We just released the latest issue of our magazine ESItalk, including a special report (page 4) covering precisely why and how ESI has initiated the next fundamental shift in Virtual Prototyping, stepping from Product Lifecycle Management into Product Performance Lifecycle, and bringing us that much closer to the Factory of the Future.
